Choosing a Real Estate Professional doesn't necessarily mean they're a Realtor®. Being a Realtor® means that you abide by our Code of Ethics, click HERE. After you become a Realtor®, then you learn and hone your craft by experience and education. Continuing education is mandatory for all agents to have at least 24 credits every 2 years in pre-assigned categories. Some agents go above and beyond in an effort to give their clients the best possible information and service available. I am proud to be one of those agents. Below are the links to the different designations and certifications I have earned along with the honors I have been awarded along the way. Click on each designation to learn more: ABR - This designation stands for "Accredited Buyer's Representative." Especially relevant in today's marketplace, it's incredibly important to have an agent represent you who is trained in the small details that effect you as a buyer. An ABR protects you and ensures that the entire transaction (usually the largest purchase you'll ever make) is smooth and stress-free. CSP - This designation signifies that I am a "Certified Short-Sale Professional." CSP real estate professionals are expert facilitators of the short-sale transaction – from beginning to end. Those agents that have earned the CSP Designation recognize the impact that a short-sale can have on the sale of a home and have been prepared to provide that value added service for their clients. Who better to work through the issues of short-selling your home than the one that is assuming responsibility for the marketing of your home? Equipped with the knowledge and skills to ensure that your home is fully prepared to present a proposal to the lender, the CSP real estate professional will ensure you have an edge.
e-PRO - This certifies that I am an Internet professional with a focus on advanced technology. Surprisingly, the majority of real estate agents have no internet presence and many consider themselves "novices" regarding computers and technology.
Because of my training, I am able to communicate quickly and keep detailed records of all aspects of our transaction together. The fundamental principle in writing a contract is "Time is of the essence." I use technology and certain tools that let me process your paperwork so quickly and efficiently, you will be amazed. I'm beyond faxing and scanning - and when you work with me, you'll see firsthand.
When it comes to marketing your property for sale, your listing is virtually everywhere within 24 hours or less. I'm happy to discuss the many different aspects that technology play in the services I provide. SFR - every agent in The Karten Group has earned the Short-Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation. This assures you that we are trained and knowledgable on the process of helping buyers and sellers with the process of listing their home or purchasing a short-sale or bank-owned home. The rules constantly change, especially for 2010, and it's extremely important that you work with an educated Realtor.
SRES - This designation shows that I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist. I am trained in many different facets of helping Seniors and their families in the decisions that effect the sale of their current real estate holdings, and the choices made after. For buyers, since Las Vegas is a major retirement haven, I have the skills, patience and resources needed to help make your purchase and moves as seamless as possible.
SRS - This stands for "Sellers Representative Specialist" and is pretty self-explanatory. Beyond the legal scope of how we represent our sellers as Realtors, I have the training to excel in superior marketing, staging, negotiation and conflict resolution to ensure a successful sale.
CRS - I am now working on my next designation, which is a "Certified Residential Specialist." Once I achieve this, I will explain it in full detail.
